About Greg
Hill
 Greg
Hill was born in Independence, KS on October 23, 1971
and is the oldest of three children. His parents
are David and Susan Hill of Independence, KS and his
siblings are Carrie Bacon and Scott Hill.
While growing up, Greg enjoyed soccer and baseball.
In high school, he ran cross country and track and began
writing for his local newspaper, covering sports. It
was then that Greg realized an enjoyment of writing.
Greg received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics
from Kansas State University and is a 1999 graduate of
Washburn University School of Law.
Greg and his wife Gwen were married on October 23, 1999.
Shortly thereafter, Greg began writing The Family Tree.
In 2003, their first child, Haven was born and then in
2008, their first son, Camden was born.
